Dave started Young Circuit Designs in 2010 with a mission to help small companies and startups build great hardware to launch great products. Many years and dozens of product launches later, Dave has grown YCD into a design firm which clients of any size can rely on for electronics expertise.
With a BS and MS in electrical engineering, 20 years of electronics experience, and broad industry background across engineering, production, marketing, and field support, Dave specializes in understanding the big picture while working on today’s hard problems. He can jump into any team at any phase of product development and support clients in challenging situations.
Dave’s technical focus is on hardware; particularly analog, low power, mixed-signal, wireless, and digital circuits. He excels in identifying and reducing risk, making engineering tradeoffs, verifying performance, and getting projects to the finish line.
